Peter was honoured to host the 2024 Anthelmintics international conference at the Old Mill Inn in Toronto, welcoming delegates from around the world, including Australia, Cameroon, Switzerland, Germany, France, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wisconsin, Maryland, Iowa, Texas, Massachusetts, Georgia, South Carolina, Chicago, Montreal and Calgary. Highlights of the meeting included stimulating talks on novel drug discovery pipelines, progress on vaccine development, cutting edge techniques for tracing resistant alleles in populations, expert industrial commentary and so much more. In addition, Peter was thrilled to give a walking tour of downtown, including the University of Toronto Campus, and organize a Toronto harbour dinner and dance cruise, which was fortunate to have spectacular weather. The meeting was a tremendous success and likely a memorable experience for all.
